Baked Glazed Cucumbers

6 Cucumbers

2 TBSP white vinegar

A pinch of sugar

A sprinkle of white pepper

Minced parsley for garnish

1/3 Cup melted butter

2 TBSP salt

1/2 Cup chopped green onions

1/2 TSP dill weed

     Peel cucumbers.  Cut them in half lengthwise.  Scoop out seeds with a teaspoon.  Cut the halves into 1/2 inch slices diagonally and put them in a deep bowl.  Sprinkle with, salt, vinegar and sugar.  Turn them over.  Allow to stand 1 hour. Drain, and pat dry with a paper towel.  Put them into a baking dish.  Add melted butter.  Add onions, dill and white pepper.  Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Sprinkle with minced parsley and serve.
